Hello Hello!

11In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. 12Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness. 14For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace.
Romans 6:11-14

Hi everyone! I hope that today is finding you well. This is obviously the first post of many blogs to come. Currently, I am finishing up my last few weeks of undergraduate studies at Malone University as a Bible and Theology major. I admit, this has been a tough semester and finishing strong is never easy.
Preparations for the trip are going well. I have been in pretty good contact with the missionaries over in Jordan, and one other person who will traveling at the same time as I. I am also fortunate to have several professors who know a great deal about the Middle East help me gain some insight into Arab culture before I travel.
For those of you who are supporting, whether financially, through prayer, and both...I am so thankful for you. Your love and support means so much to me. I am continually grateful for this experience and can't wait to share my experiences to you through this. As of now, here are some immediate prayers that I have:

-finishing school strong
-significant wedding preparations would be done before Christine and I leave for our trips
-the hearts of the Jordanian people
-the missionaries (the missionary's wife is due in March while I will be there)
-safe travel
-that all of the finances for the trip would come
-humility

Again, thank you so much for your support through this!

Grace and Peace
